I'm a recent graduate of the University of Michigan. I focus on communication design. Currently, I'm the Education Chair of Escher House, a 165-person student housing co-op. My job is to make its complex and obscure processes less confusing, and to make sure everyone's kept in the loop.
This builds on the marketing and data skills I've gathered through my graphic design and linguistics degree. I've been working with newsletters, information visualization, zines, and posters.
Outside of my information management experience, I work to understand digital platforms and their impact on communication possibilities.
Outside of either of those things, I have a lot of hobbies. I make a lot of things. I do a lot of visual art, and fibercrafts, and I collect statistics on my fibercrafts. I do some circus arts when I can.
All of my goals center around combining my skills with other peoples' skills to figure out the unexpected connections and making weird things.
